Webayt Information and Section Pages in a CMS are one of the basic page types that make up the main page structure of your website. Standard information pages such as About Us, Features, FAQs, and Contact can be created from this section.

Additionally, section pages where categories and content are listed, such as blog, help center, news, or announcements, are also managed from this area.

What is the Information and Section Page?

Information and section pages can be used for two different purposes:

  • Standard information pages: These are individual content pages such as About Us, Features, Frequently Asked Questions, and Contact.
  • Section pages: These are main pages, such as blogs, help centers, or news sites, that list categories and content.

For example, the Help Center can be created as a section page. Category pages such as "Getting Started," "General Usage," "Modules," or "Technical Operations" can then be linked to this section page.

  2. Open the Information and Section Pages screen.

  4. Enter the title of the page in the Page Name field.

Example:

 yardim-merkezi hakkimizda web-site-yonetimi

Why is the Meta Description Important?

Can modules be added to Information and Section Pages?

Yes. Webayt In the CMS, module addition can only be done for the Homepage (Settings → General Settings → Module Management Tab) and Information and Section Pages .

This structure allows modules added to a section page to also be displayed on category and content pages linked to that section. In other words, category pages and content pages inherit the modules added to the section page they are linked to.

For example, if you add a banner, custom content, or dynamic form module to the Help Center section page, these modules can also be used on category and content pages linked to the Help Center.

How to Use Module Management?

When editing an information or section page, you can add modules to the page via the Module Management tab.

  4. Locate the module area you want to add.

Template Usage

Webayt Content created on the Template Management page in the CMS can be used with shortcodes on information and section pages.

For example, you can add a pricing plan or custom content block that you created in Template Management to the page content as follows:

 { { template:mock_template_name } }

When this shortcode is added to the page content, the corresponding template is automatically displayed on the website. This allows you to easily publish reusable design areas on different pages.

What is the purpose of the "Lists to Update" section?

On the Information and Section page editing screen, the "Lists to Update" area is located at the bottom of the page. This selection area can also be used for modules in the module management tab.

This field allows you to specify which languages in the multilingual lists will receive translation updates.

If there are any updates to the text in the lists for the selected languages, the translation will be redone. Existing translations will be preserved in the lists for languages that are not selected. Common fields that do not require translation will continue to be updated in all lists.
