What is a Table of Contents?

A content page is a detail page published for a specific category. For example, if you want to add a guide article to the “Getting Started” category under the Help Center, that guide will be created as a content page.

Example structure:

Yardım Merkezi └── Başlangıç └── Webayt Yönetim Paneli Genel Kullanım Rehberi

In this structure, the Help Center is the information and section page. The starting category page is the main category page. Webayt The Admin Panel General Usage Guide is the content page.

What should be prepared before creating a table of contents?

Before creating a content page, the category or categories to which the content will belong must be prepared.

Only categories or sections linked to the same section page can be added to the content page. This structure prevents content from getting mixed up and ensures that each piece of content is displayed under the correct section.

For example, if you're creating content related to the Help Center, only categories related to the Help Center section can be selected within that content.

How to Select a Category?

When creating a content page, previously created category pages are selected from the Categories section.

For example, content under the Help Center should be created using categories associated with the Help Center. A category associated with the Blog section and a category associated with the Help Center section should not be used together in the same piece of content.

Where are the content pages listed?

Content pages are listed under the selected category pages.

For example, if you link a content page titled “Webayt How to Change the Admin Panel Language?” to the “Getting Started” category, this content will be displayed on the Getting Started category page.

Additionally, if a category and content listing structure is used on the relevant section page, the content can also be displayed within that section structure.

Can modules be added to the content page?

Modules cannot be added directly to content pages. Webayt In the CMS, modules can only be added to the Homepage (Settings → General Settings → Module Management Tab) and Information and Section Pages .

Content pages inherit the modules added to the section page to which their category page belongs.

For example, if a module is added to the Help Center section page, that module may also be displayed on category and content pages linked to the Help Center.

Template Usage

Custom content created in Template Management can also be used on content pages.

You can add a shortcode like this to the content editor:

 { { template:mock_template_name } }

This shortcode automatically displays the relevant content defined in Template Management on the page.

This feature is particularly useful for price tables, custom call fields, reusable information boxes, or custom design blocks.

Visual Area

When creating or editing a content page, an image can also be added. Depending on the theme structure, this image can be displayed in content lists, detail pages, or relevant modules.

When uploading images, consider file size, image dimensions, image quality, and web compatibility.

How to Write a Meta Description?

Meta descriptions on content pages are important for search engines and user experience. The meta description should briefly and clearly summarize what the content is about.

Example:

Webayt yönetim panelinde desteklenen dilleri ve panel dilinin nasıl değiştirileceğini adım adım öğrenin.

Lists to be Updated Area

The content page editing screen contains a "Lists to Update" field. This field is used to specify which languages' list translations should be updated in multilingual structures.

If there are any updates to the text in the lists for the selected languages, the translation will be redone. Existing translations will be preserved in the lists for languages that are not selected. Common fields that do not require translation will continue to be updated in all lists.

This allows you to update list translations only in the necessary languages when updating content, while preserving existing translations in other languages.

When should you use a content page?

You can create a content page in the following situations:

  • When you want to publish a blog post
  • When you want to create a help center directory
  • When you want to add a news item or announcement
  • When you want to display detailed content under a category
  • When you want to publish SEO-focused articles or informative content
